Being an Early Career Therapist is hard.
From my experience, finding quality supervision during a critical and vulnerable part of a therapist's career just starting in the field can be challenging. Some of my most influential experiences in shaping me to become the therapist I am is through engaging, supportive, and insightful supervision which is what I hope to provide to each of my supervisees.
My supervision style is collaborative with the main objective of helping you find your own authentic ‘voice’ as a therapist that allows you to feel confident as a clinician. My training background is in psychodynamic psychotherapy with an emphasis on attachment theory, contemporary trauma research, and relational psychotherapy. If you are interested in learning how to practice in a way that incorporates family-of-origin work, how our past shows up in our present, and value the importance of self-examination and self-awareness, we may be a good fit.
I am a Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida and am eligible to supervise LCSW and MFT Interns for individual or group supervision who need supervised hours to obtain full licensure. I will also provide additional consultation even if you already have a Qualified Supervisor if you are looking for a consultant who is a better fit or want to learn more about psychodynamic psychotherapy.
