Frequently Asked Questions

  • While I am not in-network with any insurance companies, many insurance plans offer out-of-network coverage. I am happy to look up your specific plan to see what coverage your insurance plan provides.

  • My out-of-pocket fee is $200 per session. Patients that are able to pay this fee allow me to offer sliding scale services to other members of the community.

  • Yes, I consistently keep a couple of spots available for clients that are not able to pay my full fee. Please reach out to inquire about sliding scale availability.

  • Yes, I offer in-person sessions at my office in St. Petersburg. I also offer video sessions to all residents in Florida and Illinois.

  • For our first session, we will discuss what led you to seek out therapy at this time and what you are hoping to gain (if you are not sure, that is normal and a great place to start and explore). This is also an opportunity to begin to develop a trusting relationship, a pillar of any effective therapy, so you are encouraged to share what works for you and what doesn't, especially if you have previous experience with therapy.

  • If you are a resident of Florida outside of St.Petersburg I offer telehealth sessions over video.

  • I am also licensed in the state of Illinois and offer telehealth therapy to residents of Illinois.
